How to Reach Us

Email us at Contact@CountyTaxTools.com. We read every message and respond as quickly as we can.

Data Corrections

If you spot an error on this site - a wrong tax rate, an outdated figure, a broken source link, or an incorrect calculation result - please let us know.

When reporting a correction, include:

  • The page URL or jurisdiction name where the error appears
  • What the current (incorrect) value says
  • What the correct value should be
  • A link to the official government source that confirms the correct value (e.g., a .gov page, adopted budget, or tax office publication)

Including an official source link helps us verify and publish the correction faster. We will not update published data based on unverified claims alone.

Source Updates

Tax rates change when counties adopt new budgets. If you know that a jurisdiction has adopted a new rate, changed an assessment method, or updated a relief program percentage, send us the official source and we will update accordingly.

We also welcome reports of broken or moved source links. Government websites reorganize periodically, and some links we cite may go stale over time.

Calculator or Tool Issues

If a calculator produces an unexpected result, a tool does not behave as described, or you notice a logic error in how we compute an estimate, email us with:

  • Which calculator or tool you were using
  • The inputs you entered
  • What result you received vs. what you expected

CountyTaxTools provides tax estimates, not official tax bills. But the estimates should be internally consistent with the published rates and formulas we document. If they are not, that is a bug.

County and City Officials

If you are a county or city official and believe a rate, formula, or deadline shown on this site is incorrect, please contact us with the official source citation. We take corrections from local tax authorities seriously and will review and update accordingly.

We are also open to receiving direct confirmation of rates or program details that are not yet published on your jurisdiction's public website, as long as you can confirm the official adoption.

General Feedback

If there is a jurisdiction, calculator, or feature you would like to see added, we welcome suggestions. We prioritize based on user demand and official data availability.

Please note that CountyTaxTools is a tax data platform, not a tax advisory service. We cannot provide personalized tax advice. For questions about your specific tax situation, contact your local assessor, treasurer, or commissioner of the revenue.

Response Times

We aim to respond to all emails within a few business days. Data correction reports with official source links are prioritized.
